1) Following the practice of some other WIAA sports, the four teams in each division that make the WIAA State Tournament will be seeded.
2) All coaches will remain together during the WIAA seeding meetings. No longer will it be acceptable to split the top-8 schools from the bottom-8 schools during the meeting.
3) For sub-Varsity games only, if the game cannot proceed any other way, schools will be allowed to use one licensed official with two unlicensed people on the sidelines with flags. The unlicensed people with flags will only rule on balls going out-of-bounds. Like WIAA volleyball, the licensed official will be in charge of all other decisions (e.g., offsides).
