Wisconsin Soccer Coaches Association Membership

WSCA Membership - USC Membership included for the 2024 Calendar Year

The official 2024 WSCA Registration is open NOW through January 31, 2024

DEADLINE FOR REGISTRATIONS: The membership is a calendar year membership beginning in January and ending in December.  Our registration opens in early January with a window to register until the end of the month.  Once this window is over, the cost of the membership goes up and the membership is still only valid for that calendar year.

The late registration window is closed as of October 15, 2024.

HS Head Coaches must be WSCA members to receive all WSCA member benefits.  Assistants/youth/club/college coaches can also register for membership, but cannot take the place of a head coach in receiving benefits for a high school program. All memberships will include a United Soccer Coaches membership along with the WSCA membership.

An increase in membership cost has occurred in 2023 and again for 2024 - the USC has increased the cost of the membership, which is reflected in the cost increase passed on to our members.  Thanks for your understanding and continued support.

WSCA - USC Membership FAQs (partnership established in 2020)

1. Is it required for me to become a USC member or can I just continue as a member of the WSCA only?

All WSCA members are now required to be USC members.  We will only offer one membership price of $120 and that will include a WSCA membership and a USC membership.

2. Is the registration fee the same for a coach who coaches both boys and girls High School teams in the same year?

Yes. The member benefits will cover both seasons they coach.

3. Can schools register on behalf of a coach?

Yes. If a school is paying the registration fee, they can submit the coaches information at the time of registration and pay with a school credit card.

4. My school will still be in the process of hiring a coach after the Jan 31st registration deadline? Can they sign up later?

Yes, however the cost will be $175. If a school would like to register the athletic director on behalf of the coach to be named later they can do so for $120 during the registration window. Once the coach is hired we can change the name of the membership over to the new coach.

5. Can assistant coaches or youth club coaches become members for the discounted USC rate?

Yes. They would get a discounted price of $90 and this would include all USC member benefits. However, the head coach of the team would still need to be a WSCA member for their team to qualify for WSCA member awards.

6. I just renewed my WSCA membership this past October, do I still have to renew again in January?

Yes. WSCA memberships run from Jan 1 – Dec 31st, so this new membership process will establish a new way forward, beginning with your combined WSCA/USC membership that renews every January.

7. I already signed up for a USC membership earlier this year do I still have to renew in January even though my membership will be good well into 2020?

Yes. Our goal is to create annual memberships that run from Jan 1 – Dec 31st. The WSCA will work with coaches on a case by case basis to offer a discount or pro-rated refund depending on when they previously became a USC member.

8. What if I forget to become a member and find out that my player was nominated for All State? Can I still sign up so that they will be considered for the award(s)?

NO. As in the past we will have a final registration deadline of June 1st for girls coaches and October 15th for boys coaches to become a WSCA member and receive WSCA member benefits. Any coaches who miss those deadlines will not be eligible for team or individual awards.
