Steve Lawrence – Marquette High School Head Coach
Coach Lawrence is entering his 9th year as Head Coach of the Marquette University High School soccer program.  During this time his teams have accomplished the following:
  Overall Record: 160-22-13
  State Championships: 2008, 2010, 2011, 2012
  State Runner-Up: 2007
  NSCAA National Rankings: #7 (2008), #18 (2010), #4 (2011), #6 (2012)
 
Streaks:
54 games in a row without a loss==(Oct 2010 to Oct 2012)
57 games in a row without a loss vs. WI opponents--(Oct 2010 – Oct 2013)

In 2011, Coach Lawrence was awarded the Private School National Coach of the Year by the NSCAA for leading the Hilltoppers to an undefeated season and  in 2012 was asked to coach in the 2nd Annual High School All American game.  Over Coach Lawrence’s first eight years at MUHS he has helped develop 4 High School All-Americans, and has seen 33 of his players move on to the collegiate level to play soccer. 
As a player Coach Lawrence won 2 State Championships at MUHS, played four years at Marquette University where he was captain for 2 years, and in his Senior season led MU to a Conference Championship and was named C-USA Defensive Player of the Year.  He also played two years of professional soccer with the Milwaukee Wave United of the USL A-League.

Coach Lawrence has his USSF Nat’l “D” Coaching License, and is also currently on staff at the Bavarian Soccer Club.
